Party Poker Premier League IV Qualifiers Underway

For the first time in its history the Party Poker Premier League is coming to Las Vegas, and you can qualify to be there competing alongside the best and brightest of poker with Party Poker’s Premier League IV qualifiers.

Party Poker started satellites on December 17, and there’s still plenty of time to throw your hat into the ring, as the big event itself isn’t scheduled to take place until February, 2010.

Party Poker satellites into the Premier League IV have buy-ins starting as low as $2. The top 16 players in the Premier League IV qualifier series will head to Las Vegas to compete against one another in a playoff where only one person will be left standing and the winner of the Party Poker Premier League IV qualifier series will be decided.

That player will win the $100,000 buy-in into the exclusive Premier League IV, a high intensity, high stakes live single-table tournament consisting of only 12 players total.

One of the 16 semi-finalists in the Party Poker Premier League Qualifier series (and not necessarily the same one who wins the free poker entry in the big event either) will win a $100,000 contract with Party Poker to be a sponsored player on the Team Party pro team. So it’s not just a poker tournament, it’s also an audition!

Both the qualifier playoff and the Premier League IV Final itself will be televised. And among the other 11 players present besides the winner of the Party Poker Premier League IV Qualifier series will be the winner of the Premier League III Final, J.C. Tran.
