Cake Network’s New Software Goes Beta: Power Poker & Only Poker Players Benefit

Corey Bruhn |

The new Cake Poker 2.0 software for sites on the Cake Network that includes sites like Power Poker and Only Poker has now gone beta. That means players can now enjoy all the new features and benefits that come with the Cake Poker 2.0 upgrade, and participate in its improvement and perfecting.

The new features of the Cake Poker 2.0 software that players at Only Poker and Power Poker (along with other sites on the Cake Network) can look forward to include several improvements to the lobby, with a better look (through improved graphics) and a better feel (through an improved layout). What’s more, the new Cake Network poker lobby is now resizeable.

Players at Only Poker and Power Poker will also notice that they can now view their number of Gold Chips, Gold Stacks, and Gold Cards, as well as their open tournament tickets right from the main lobby.

The main options listed now are for Ring Games, Tournaments, and Sit and Gos, each with radio buttons that allow players to narrow down their search for online poker games with filters for limits and table stakes. An advanced filter lets you select from additional ways to fine tune your choices, for example choose between 2-handed, 6-handed, 9-handed, or other size cash table.

Players at Power Poker and Only Poker, along with at their other fellow Cake Network poker sites, will notice sharper and more colorful table graphics, both in the classic theme view and in the simple theme view. Every facet of the table in each of these views – from the color of the felt to the face of the cards – is customizable.

And for players who enjoy playing in multiple tables or tournaments at once, you have a variety of ways you can view your various tables, choosing between the user-defined minimum (or default) preset table size, a view with the tables arranged at the 4 corners of your display screen, or tiled or cascading – whichever works best for you.
