Binions Announces The Second Annual Poker Open

With the paid attendance topping 3,000 for the First Annual Poker Open, the legendary Binions Casino in Las Vegas announced today the return of the annual event. Kicking off on Wednesday, October 15th the 21 event series is comprised of smaller buy in events and is a real draw for local players and visitors alike.

The general feedback from the first event was very positive according to Glenn Casale, the Director Casino Operations. He went on to say, “The players were so pleased with the tournament – the way we ran the events, the reasonable buy-ins, the quality of our dealers, the level of competition – they practically insisted we make it an annual event.”

So Binions did just that offering a range of events from your standard Texas Hold’em tournaments to the popular HORSE event and a ladies-only game set to take place next week. The championship event takes place on November 3 and will mark the end of the very popular event for players willing to put up the still manageable $1,000 entry fee. For a chance to compete in the hallowed halls of a poker landmark like Binions, that’s a small price to pay for most poker players.
