Once again this year, Party Poker will be sending many players to the 2012 WSOP, and have put together some generous prize packages for their players to win. The packages are worth a total of $14,000, which includes the buy in, 8 days of luxury accommodation at a Las Vegas hotel, and $2000 in spending money. The winners will also be representing Team Party Poker and Party Poker will personally make sure that you're taken care of while you're there.
Party Poker realizes that its players have varying amounts of money that they can spend on looking to win their seat to the WSOP, so they've structured things so that everyone can participate regardless of the size of their bankroll. You don't even need to spend any money at all to have a shot at it, as they run daily freerolls where the buy in amount for these tournaments is absolutely nothing. They also run special freerolls for first time depositors where your chances of winning a seat are much greater than in the regular freerolls, so it does pay to both open an account and deposit, even if you only have a small amount of money to put in.
If you only have a little money to spend, they run daily tournaments of $2, $4, and $9. For those with bigger accounts, there is a daily qualifier tournament with a $75 + $5 buy-in level. All of these smaller tournaments lead to the actual WSOP Satellite, where you can end up winning a seat at that by doing well in the smaller tournaments, or you can just buy a seat into the big one directly for $700 + 50. 1 in 20 entrants in the satellite win a seat at the 2012 WSOP, so your chances here are excellent.
As exciting as playing at the World Series of Poker is, it's also very exciting to play for a seat at it. I won my first seat in it online and there's just something special about playing for a seat to the World Championship of Poker as opposed to any other poker tournament that you've ever played in online.
