In this section of Poker For Free we cover basic poker strategies. These principles of the game can be seen as the foundation needed to develop a solid poker strategy, hence any poker player should master them, before even thinking of playing poker for real money.

Once you understand the basics of poker, such as "under the gun", the meanings of all positions, and which hands you should, or better yet, you shouldn't play, then you'll know more than the average poker player. But be sure not only to understand them, but to master them.

Each and every one of our strategy articles is written to help you understand why poker is a game of skill, and once you finally master basic poker strategy, the next step, moving on to more advanced poker strategies, will only be a small one to take.

We suggest you do your homework, read our articles, and practice playing freerolls, or join our other Poker Club members in our free poker game. At this point we will not advice you to use one of our poker free money offers, frankly it would be a shame to waste them. Save them for better days.

Don't rush and risk! Learning the game of poker takes time, and the better poker players not only know which tables to pick, how to play their hands and positions, they also know how to be extremely patient. If you are capable of being patient, your game will improve, a step at the time, while you learn from your mistakes.
