Full Tilt Poker FTOPS XVII

Full Tilt Poker has just announced the seventeenth installment of its popular semi-annual online poker tournament series, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, with FTOPS XVII.

FTOPS XVII is happening August 4th to 15th, 2010. The prize pool this time is over $19 million guaranteed. The series includes 34 events, including the $600 + $40 FTOPS XVII Main Event, which has a $3 million guaranteed prize pool.

The Mini FTOPS XVII is happening September 8th to 19th, 2010. The prize pool this time is over $6 million guaranteed. The Mini FTOPS XVII also has 34 events, the same 34 as the FTOPS XVII in fact, but at one-tenth of the buy-ins.

The FTOPS XVII schedule also features the $2 million guaranteed two-day event and includes Turbo, Super Turbo, Shootout, and Knockout events. Full Tilt Poker has even added some Rush Poker Tournaments to the Full Tilt Online Poker Series lineup.

Full Tilt Poker is already running around-the-clock satellite tournaments qualifying players into all of the events comprising FTOPS XVII. What's more, Full Tilt Poker has brought back the FTOPS Satellite Challenges, wherein you can win bonus cash and tournament tickets for winning more satellites than anyone else.

Win more satellites into the same FTOPS XVII event than anyone else and win the T$ (tournament dollar) equivalent of 2 more buy-ins to that same event. So if you win the FTOPS XVII Satellite Challenge for Event #1, for example, $200 + $16 NL Hold'em, then you win 2 x ($200 + $16) or 2 x $216 = $432 in T$ that you can then apply toward any other event on Full Tilt Poker in FTOPS XVII. Thirty-four such prizes will be awarded, one for each event leading up to (and including) the Main Event. Runners-up in each of the FTOPS XVII Satellite Challenges will win the tournament dollar equivalent of 1 more tournament buy-in.
