Last Friday, April 16, 2010, Full Tilt Poker released a new upgrade to its online poker software that introduces a whole bunch of new games and features, not the least of them being Rush Poker Tournaments, an online poker tournament version of Full Tilt's recently lauded innovation Rush Poker.

But Rush Poker Tournaments are not the only new release coming out with Ful lTilt's new software. There are also these great new changes:

  • Steps Tournaments, familiar to many players from Step satellites into various larger MTT tournaments, give you a tiered tournament structure including multiple tournaments, each on its own tier, that you can climb toward achieving a much larger prize than you could otherwise attain for your original buy-in.
  • Tournament Tickets which you can win through different tournaments, satellites, and other promotions, as well as buy directly in the Full Tilt Poker Store, Iron Man Challenge Store or Full Tilt Poker Academy Store. Tournament tickets give players an added option to buy into an MTT Sit & Go of their choice worth the face value of the given ticket.
Full Tilt Poker Software Update

And in case you missed out on the last improvements to Full Tilt's online poker room, here's a refresher:

  • Folded Card Images, so you can look back on cards you folded in a hand to see how you would have done had you stayed in.
  • Stack Tables, another multi-tabling view option on top of tiling and cascading that simply shows you the necessary table whenever your turn to act arrives.
  • New Auto Post Options, including to wait to be dealt in until you're on the big blind, auto post blinds and antes, and more.
  • Automatic Tournament Deals Update, which puts the player on the button in charge of the deal instead of the chip leader.
