Full Tilt Poker FTOPS XV Schedule Now Out

The schedule for the Full Tilt Poker FTOPS XV is now out. The dates for the 15th incarnation of Full Tilt Poker's most popular semi-annual tournament series event are February 10 through 21, 2010.

Of course, as you would expect, Full Tilt Poker is already running satellite tournaments for free or low cost entry into the FTOPS XV events, particularly the $500 + $35 main event closing out the series on February 21 with a whopping guaranteed prize pool of $2 1/2 million. This time around Full Tilt promises to award at least $17 million guaranteed. And that doesn't even include the $6 million guaranteed prize pool for the follow-up MiniFTOPS XV that will be taking place exactly one month later, from March 10 through 21.

The schedule of events in FTOPS 15 and MiniFTOPS 15 both much resembles the FTOPS and MiniFTOPS schedules of the past, with 27 events this time instead of the 25 of the past, including Fixed Limit and Pot Limit events in addition to No Limit, and including Stud and Omaha events in addition to Hold'em. And this doesn't even include all the FTOPS XV side events.

And don't forget, the FTOPS XV schedule also includes numerous FTOPS Challenges and FTOPS XV Satellite Challenges offering, in addition to free entries into various FTOPS XV events, cash and freeroll entries.

In all, there are 1/2 dozen events in FTOPS XV with prize pools of over $1 million, including the coveted $2 million two-day event.

The premiere event of FTOPS XV will take place on February 10 at 9:00 pm ET for a $200 + $16 buy-in.
